Wasn't that fun? Well, I thought it was!
The colors are easy to remember because the majority of them start with their own letter.
Say you want to sign other colors not shown in the video. What would you do?
You've got a few options:
- Fingerspell the name of the color
- Describe it
- Ask someone if there's a sign for that specific color
- Use another sign to explain the color.
Let me give you some examples.
MY ROOM I PAINT F-U-S-C-H-I-A I
MY ROOM I PAINT F-U-S-C-H-I-A -- BRIGHT PINK SO-SO DARK TINY PURPLE
Asking about color signs
HOW SIGN N-A-V-Y BLUE?
Using other words for colors
Me: MY FAVORITE COLOR WHAT? GREEN
Friend: DARK GREEN?
Me: NO. GRASS GREEN
I hope that helps you out a bit more so you're not just stuck signing the basic crayon colors. Now, the whole world of color and design are before you... think of the things you can do now.
Just a reminder..
The beauty of these lessons is you can do them at your own pace. If you are struggling with some signs, go back over them. Let me know which ones you're having a hard time with and I'd love to help!
